Staying Involved in the Live Events Industry

As we continue into Fall 2020, it’s likely your work flow has been impacted or evolved in some way or another. It was brought to the forefront quite quickly what a valuable role live communication plays in our day-to-day business operations. While we evolved our communications through virtual technologies and innovation, it’s clear there is no replacement live meetings or events.

While the immediate concern is to mitigate the spread and impact of COVID-19, a coalition has been formed to support those working in the meeting and event industry.

Go Live Together

Go LIVE Together is a coalition of over 80 founding partners who have joined forces to support legislative actions that will aid in the industry’s recovery from COVID-19. It is bound together by the belief that nothing in the world will ever replace the power and need for live events, once the nature of business has finally returned. Go LIVE Together is focused on US local, state, and federal legislation that will advocate for funds to offset the added costs of hosting an event post COVID-19 and for funds to incent people to attend live events when it is safe to do so. You can show your support for the events industry by joining Go LIVE to help speak with a strong, unified voice. You can also help amplify the message by sharing this cause on your social media networks.
